iPod Volume level too low for TV

I have several movies on my iPod 5th Gen. When I hook up my iPod to my TV, it really is not very loud. I can hear the movie just fine but it just could be louder. I have the iPod set on highest volume, The volume limit set on Max and I still need to crank up the TV to almost max. I've even gone into iTunes, right clicked on the movie and adjusted the volume under "Get More info-----> Options"

Any help or suggestions?
